Sweet 16 For C.C. Tribe Beat Twins 5-0

Cleveland Indians Ace C.C. Sabathia threw eight scoreless frames Monday night as the Tribe defeated division rivals the Minnesota Twins Monday 5-0. Sabathia gave up six hits and struck out six as well to see his record improve to 16-7. Cleveland knocked out Twins starter Johann Santanna after six, he also only gave up six hits but four runs all earned. For whatever reason Cleveland has been able to figure Santanna out this year, the two time Cy Young award winner is 14-11, five of his losses have come against the Indians. With the win Cleveland now holds a six game lead in the American League Central over second place Detroit.
