Blalock Out With Torn Hamstring

As if the Texas Rangers have enough problems already, you can add one more to their grocery list as according to the Associated Press, third baseman Hank Blalock is suffering from a small tear in his left hamstring and is expected to miss up to 3 weeks. On Monday, Blalock had an MRI followed by an injection; he had originally suffered the injury running the bases last Friday night and hasn't played since. The Rangers - who are off today - placed Blalock on the 15-day disabled list prior to their game against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday.
