Bonser, Twins Top White Sox 3-1

Boof Bonser and three relievers combined on a seven-hitter as the Twins topped the White Sox 3-1 at the Metrodome. Jason Kubel drilled a two-run homer and Mike Lamb had a sac-fly in a three-run fourth inning for Minnesota, which returned home from a 2-and-4 road trip through Oakland and Texas. Bonser struck out eight while allowing six hits and one run over seven innings for his second win. Joe Nathan notched his eighth save. Gavin Floyd gave up three runs in six innings to suffer his first loss of the season for Chicago, which had won three of its previous four. Joe Crede homered for the Pale Hose.
