Giants Beat D-Backs 5-4

Bengie Molina's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning proved to be the difference as the San Francisco Giants went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-4, in the opener of a three-game series at AT&T Park. Aaron Rowand hit an RBI double while Randy Winn added an RBI single for the Giants, who have won five of their past six games to improve to 6-and-8 on the season. Keiichi Yabu picked up the win in relief of starter Jonathan Sanchez, allowing no runs on one hit over two innings of work to move his record to 1-and-1.
Brian Wilson recorded the final three outs for his fourth save. Chad Qualls suffered the loss, allowing two runs (none earned) on one hit over one and-a-third innings to fall to 0-and-1. Connor Jackson clubbed a two-run homer and later added an RBI single for the D-Backs, who dropped to 9-and-4. The series continues this afternoon at 1:35 p.m
