Konerko, White Sox Roll Orioles

Paul Konerko slugged a pair of solo homers to lead the White Sox in a 6-1 victory over the Orioles in the third test of a four-game set at U.S. Cellular Field. Carlos Quentin was 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI for Chicago, which has won two straight and three-of-four overall. Jose Contreras yielded a run on five hits over six-and-two-thirds innings to move to 2-and-2 on the season. Brian Roberts launched a solo shot to provide the only run of the game for Baltimore. Jeremy Guthrie surrendered three runs on five hits over five frames to fall to 0-and-3.
