Westbrook Placed On DL
The Cleveland Indians on Tuesday suffered a blow to their pitching rotation as they placed starter Jake Westbrook on the 15-day disabled list with a muscle strain in his ribs; the move is retroactive to Sunday as Westbrook's last pitching appearance was on Saturday in Cleveland's loss to the Minnesota Twins. Westbrook, prior to his injury, had made 4 starts for the Indians while recording a 2.73 ERA.
