Yanks Dash Royals' Sweep Hopes with 6-1 Win

The Royals may have taken their home-opening series against New York, but the Yankees made sure it wasn't a sweep. In a game that was beset by stormy weather, Kansas City fell 6-1 at the K last night. It was a double by Jose Guillen in the first inning, scoring Mark Teahen, that gave the Royals their only mark. And it was an old nemesis who did them in -- pitcher Andy Pettitte. He went six-and-two-thirds innings, giving up five hits for New York. In his last nine starts against the Royals, he's got a 7-and-0 record. The Royals are still on top of the AL Central at 6-and-3.
