Anderson Propels Halos Past Royals

Garret Anderson went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI as the Angels rallied for a 5-3 win over the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Anderson's fourth home run of the season tied the game at three in the fourth inning. He added RBI singles in both the fifth and sixth for Los Angeles, which has won four in-a-row and six of its last eight games. Darren Oliver got the win in relief and Francisco Rodriguez his 14th save. Brian Bannister was tagged for 13 hits and all five runs in six-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 3-and-4 with the loss. Miguel Olivo, Ross Gload and Alex Gordon all had RBI doubles for KC, which has dropped four-of-six.
