Braves Bash Mets 11-4 at Turner Field



Brian McCann went 3-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored as the Braves bashed the Mets 11-4 at Turner Field. Jeff Francoeur finished a double short of the cycle and drove in four runs for Atlanta, which has won the first three in the four-game set. Chipper Jones hit his 398th career home run in the victory. Jair Jurrjens hurled seven innings of five-hit, two-run ball to improve to 5-and-3. David Wright and Carlos Beltran each went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for New York, which fell to 22-and-22 with the loss. Mike Pelfrey was knocked around for eight hits and six runs in just four innings to drop to 2-and-5 with the setback.
