Braves Place Pena On DL, Activate Infante

The Braves placed catcher Brayan Pena on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a mid-back strain. The move is retroactive to May 5th. Pena has appeared in 14 games this season and has four hits in 14 at-bats. The Braves also activated infielder Omar Infante from the 15-day DL. Infante was out with a broken left hand. He was in the starting lineup and batted leadoff in today's 5-4 win over San Diego. Infante finished 1-for-3 in his first appearance of the season.
