Brew Crew Power Past Cardinals 8-3

Ryan Braun hit a pair of home runs for the second straight game to power the Brewers to an 8-3 win over the Cardinals at Miller Park. Braun connected for a pair of solo shots, and Bill Hall also went deep, all of St. Louis starter Adam Wainwright. Corey Hart had two hits and drove in two for Milwaukee, which scored five times in the third inning to snap a 1-1 tie. Dave Bush allowed just four hits and one run over six innings for his first win of the season. Mitch Stetter walked four batters in the ninth, but Guillermo Mota came on to get the final out and post his first save. Wainwright gave up all eight runs, including six earned, in six frames to take the loss. Rick Ankiel hit a solo homer in the first inning for the Redbirds.
