Brewers Pound Pirates 7-2



Mike Cameron went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer as the Brewers beat the Pirates 7-2 in the first of a three-game series at PNC Park. Corey Hart also went yard and scored twice as Milwaukee snapped a five-game skid. Manny Parra evened his record at 2-and-2, scattering four hits and striking out six over five-and-two-thirds innings of shutout ball. Jason Bay hit a two-run homer to account for the Pittsburgh offense. The Bucs have lost three-of-four. Paul Maholm fell to 2-and-5 with the loss. Both teams are 21-and-24 on the season.
