Bucs Acquire Outfielder Michaels from Cleveland

The Pirates acquired outfielder Jason Michaels and an undetermined amount of cash from the Indians Thursday for a player to be named later. Michaels hit .207 with no home runs and nine RBI with the Indians before they designated him for assignment on Tuesday. To make room on their roster, the Bucs sent outfielder Nyjer Morgan back to their Triple-A farm team in Indianapolis.
