Cueto, Reds Clip Cubs 5-3 in Cincy

Adam Dunn blasted a two-run homer to back six innings of six-hit, three-run ball by Johnny Cueto as the Reds clipped the Cubs 5-3 at Great American Ball Park. Cueto fanned eight to improve to 2-and-3 on the season. Francisco Cordero notched his fifth save of the year, despite giving up two walks and two hits in the ninth. Jeff Keppinger drove in a pair of runs and Edwin Encarnacion plated another for Cincinnati, which snapped a five-game skid. Geovany Soto went a perfect 3-for-3 with a home run, double, and single for Chicago. Ryan Theriot and Derrek Lee knocked in the other two runs for the Cubs, who have dropped four of their last five games. Ryan Dempster suffered his first loss of the season, giving up five unearned runs on four hits with seven punchouts in six innings.
