Dodgers Dump Brewers With Three-Run Ninth

Juan Pierre doubled home the go-ahead runs in the top of the ninth and Andruw Jones plated an insurance run as the Dodgers rallied for a 6-4 win over the Brewers at Miller Park. Pierre finished 3-for-5 with three RBI and a stolen base for Los Angeles, which overcame a 4-1 deficit with two in the seventh and three in the ninth. Jonathan Broxton got credit for the win and Takashi Saito struck out two in a perfect ninth for his sixth save. Guillermo Mota gave up all three runs in the ninth to take the loss for Milwaukee, which had its winning streak stopped at three. Starter Manny Parra singled in two runs for the Crew.
