Indians Best Mariners 3-2 in 11 Innings



Asdrubal Cabrera singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 11th as the Indians nipped the Mariners 3-2 at Progressive Field. Cabrera also scored in the bottom of the 10th after Richie Sexson gave the M's the lead in the top half of the frame with a solo homer. Travis Hafner returned to the lineup with two doubles and an RBI for the Tribe, who won the final two games of the three-game set. Masa Kobayashi pitched two innings of relief to get the win. Ichiro scored to tie the game in the top of the ninth and force extra innings. J.J. Putz suffered a blown save, while Mark Lowe was saddled with the loss.
