Inge Leads Tigers To Sweep Of Mariners

Brandon Inge clubbed a three-run homer and Matt Joyce added a two-run shot as the Tigers crushed the Mariners 9-2 for a three-game sweep at Comerica Park. Magglio Ordonez had a pair of RBI doubles as Detroit won its fourth game in five tries. Jeremy Bonderman went six innings for his third win, giving up two runs on eight hits. Freddy Dolsi picked up his first career save the hard way, working three innings of hitless ball. Raul Ibanez had Seattle's only RBI, and hit into a double play that scored the team's second run. Miguel Batista lasted just three innings as he dropped to 3-and-6. He allowed five runs, four earned, on seven hits as the M's lost their sixth game in their last nine tries.
