Franklin Gutierrez went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored as the Indians roughed up the Mariners 8-3 in the second-of-three at Progressive Field. Grady Sizemore smacked a solo homer and scored twice as Cleveland put the brakes on a three-game skid. Cliff Lee gave up three runs on eight hits over six-plus innings to improve to 5-and-0 with the win. He struck out three and didn't walk a batter in the victory. Wladimir Balentien clubbed a three-run homer for Seattle in defeat. Jarrod Washburn fanned seven, but was charged with five runs on six hits and two walks over four-and-a-third frames to fall to 1-and-4 with the loss.
