A two-run double by Fernando Tatis in the bottom of the 12th inning rallied the Mets to a 7-6 win over the Marlins at Shea Stadium. Luis Castillo and Jose Reyes also homered for the Mets, who won the final two games of the three-game series. Duaner Sanchez gave up a go-ahead solo homer to Alfredo Amezega in the top of the 12th, but got credit for the victory. Justin Miller blew the save in the bottom half and took the loss for Florida.
