Pirates Pound Giants 12-6 at PNC Park

Nate McLouth hit a pair of homers, drove in three runs and scored twice as the Pirates crushed the Giants 12-6 at PNC Park. Freddy Sanchez knocked in two runs and Adam LaRoche blasted a two-run shot to back seven-plus strong innings by Zach Duke. Duke gave up three runs on eight hits to notch his first win of the season and help Pittsburgh snap a three-game losing skid. Jose Castillo slammed a three-run dinger in the eighth for San Francisco in the setback. Jonathan Sanchez took the loss after getting tagged for seven runs on six hits in only four-and-a-third innings. The Giants have lost three of their last four games.
