Rangers Beat M's As Benches Clear

Ian Kinsler clubbed a two-run homer and Ramon Vazquez went 4-for-5 with an RBI as the Rangers rolled to a 5-0 win over the Mariners at Safeco Field. Five Texas pitchers combined on a four-hitter, with Franklyn German fanning three over an inning-and-two-thirds to get credit for the win. Starter Kason Gabbard left in the fourth inning with bruised legs after a brush back pitch to Richie Sexson led to a bench-clearing brawl. Sexson, who charged the mound and threw his helmet at Gabbard, was subsequently ejected. Ichiro Suzuki, Miguel Cairo and Yuniesky Betancourt had the lone hits for Seattle, which has lost 12 of its last 15 games.
