Snakes Hold On To Nip Rox 4-3



Orlando Hudson had a two-run double and Micah Owings hurled six shutout innings as the Diamondbacks held on to beat the Rockies 4-3 at Chase Field. Owings scattered five hits and two walks with five strikeouts to move to 5-and-1 with the win. Four relievers followed, with Brandon Lyon surviving a two-hit ninth for his 11th save. Stephen Drew had two hits and Conor Jackson an RBI single for Arizona, which leads the majors at 25-and-15. Jorge De La Rosa gave up four runs in four-and-two-thirds frames to take the loss as Colorado lost its fourth in-a-row. Todd Helton had three hits and Scott Podsednik a two-run single for the Rox.
