Astros Hold On To Edge Rangers



Lance Berkman went 2-for-3 with his 21st home run as the Astros edged the Rangers 4-3 at Minute Maid Park. Ty Wigginton added two hits and an RBI for Houston, which has won three of its last four games since an eight-game losing streak. Brian Moehler allowed just five hits and one run over six-and-a-third innings for his fourth win. Jose Valverde gave up a two-run homer to Ramon Vazquez in the ninth, but held on for his 19th save. Eric Hurley allowed just two runs in six frames, but took the loss for Texas. Michael Young had an RBI single in the first inning for the Rangers, who had won three of their previous four games.
