Braves Beat Rangers With Three-Run Ninth

Omar Infante singled in the go-ahead run in a three-run ninth inning as the Braves beat the Rangers 5-2 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Gregor Blanco added an RBI triple and Kelly Johnson plated another with a fielder's choice for Atlanta, which has won four of its last six games. Chipper Jones went 2-for-5 with his 16th home run and is hitting an even .400 on the season. Jeff Bennett got the win in relief and Mike Gonzalez his first save. C.J. Wilson committed a throwing error in the ninth and was charged with all three runs to take the loss for Texas. Gerald Laird and Brandon Boggs had run-scoring singles for the Rangers.
