Five-Run Fifth Lifts Twins Over Diamondbacks

Brian Buscher and Alexi Casilla each drove in two during a five-run fifth inning as the Twins completed a three-game sweep of the Diamondbacks with a 5-3 victory at the Metrodome. Justin Morneau also plated a run for Minnesota, which has won six in-a-row overall. Livan Hernandez allowed only one earned run over seven solid innings to improve to 8-and-4 with the win. He struck out five and walked only one against his former team. Joe Nathan pitched a perfect ninth to notch his 19th save. Chris Snyder had two hits, an RBI and scored once for Arizona in the setback. Brandon Webb was touched up for five runs, four earned, in seven frames to fall to 11-and-4 with the loss.
