Indians Trounce Twins 12-2



Jamey Carroll and Ben Francisco had four hits apiece as the Indians shredded the Twins 12-2 in the rubber match of their three-game series at Progressive Field. Francisco had three RBI for the Indians, who pounded out 18 hits en route to their third victory in four games. Shin-Soo Choo hit a three-run homer and scored three runs, and Grady Sizemore also went deep in the win. Aaron Laffey allowed one run over six frames to get the win. Justin Morneau had three hits for Minnesota, which came up short for the seventh time in eight games. Livan Hernandez was shelled for 12 hits and seven runs in just three innings to take the loss.
