Beltre, Mariners Power Past Rangers

Adrian Beltre clubbed a pair of homers and drove in four runs as the Mariners beat the Rangers 7-5 in the opener of a four-game series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Bryan LaHair and Raul Ibanez also homered for the Mariners, who won their second straight game following a seven-game losing streak. Sean Green picked up the win. Brandon Morrow pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his 10th save. Ian Kinsler had an RBI double and scored twice for the Rangers, who have lost four of their last six games. Frank Francisco gave up a run over two innings of relief to take the loss. Rangers shortstop Michael Young left the game with a fracture of his right ring finger and is expected to miss five-to-seven days.
