D'Backs Blank Nats 2-0
Brandon Webb struck out six over six scoreless innings as the Diamondbacks blanked the Nationals 2-0 at Nationals Park. Webb scattered six hits and two walks while picking up his Major League-leading 13th win. Brandon Lyon pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to record his 19th save. Chris Young and Robby Hammock both plated a run for Arizona in the opener of the three-game series. Nationals starter Odalis Perez was ejected in the second-inning for arguing after being called for two balks. Perez took the loss to drop to 2-and-6 on the season. The Nationals have lost six straight games.
