Nationals Return Favor, Blank D'backs
Jesus Flores clubbed a pinch-hit, three-run homer to back six innings of two-hit ball by John Lannan as the Nationals blanked the Diamondbacks 5-0 at Nationals Park. Lannan improved to 5-and-9 with the win for the Nationals, who rebounded after losing the series-opener 2-0 on Tuesday. Kory Casto added two RBI as the Nats snapped a six-game losing streak. Micah Owings allowed three runs on one hit and five walks to fall to 6-and-8 on the season. The D'backs dipped a game below .500 at 45-and-46 with the setback.
