Rangers Power Past Pale Hose

Scott Feldman and three relievers combined on a five-hitter as the Rangers rolled to a 6-1 win over the White Sox in the first of a three-game set at U.S. Cellular Field. Feldman allowed four hits and one run over six innings to record his fourth win. Josh Hamilton broke up a scoreless game with a three-run homer in the third inning and Hank Blalock added a two-run shot in the eighth for Texas. Javier Vazquez struck out 10, but allowed three runs in seven frames to fall to 7-and-8 with the loss. Carlos Quentin homered for the only Chicago run.
