Rockies Take Rubber Match From Dodgers

Matt Holliday went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored as the Rockies dropped the Dodgers 5-3 in the rubber match of a three-game set at Coors Field. Brad Hawpe [[ HOP ]] and Ian Stewart had two hits and an RBI apiece for Colorado, which won for the sixth time in seven games. Glendon Rusch worked five steady innings to improve to 4-and-3 with the win. Brian Fuentes closed things out to notch his 17th save. Andruw Jones, Andy LaRoche and Danny Ardoin knocked in a run each for Los Angeles in defeat. Hiroki Kuroda allowed all five runs over six frames to fall to 5-and-7 with the setback.
