Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, 3 Doors Down To Perform During MLB All Star Week
Major League Baseball is adding a star studded lineup of musicians for All-Star Week next week. Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow has been tapped to perform the U.S. National Anthem at Yankee Stadium to kick off the start of the 2008 All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15th. Later, singer Josh Groban will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch. Prior to the start of the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14th, the rockers of Three Doors Down will perform a two song set.
The All-Star musical performances will be preceded by the Major League Baseball All-Star Concert, featuring a performance by Bon Jovi in Central Park on Saturday, July 12th. The All-Star Concert is free to attend, but a ticket is required for admission. Reports from the "New York Post" indicate that tickets to the free show are now being sold on sites like eBay from as low as 99-cents, up to 15-hundred-dollars a pair.
