White Sox Activate Jenks From DL
The White Sox activated closer Bobby Jenks from the 15-day disabled list on Friday. Jenks hasn't pitched since June 29th due to left scapula bursitis. Jenks has converted 18 of his 21 save opportunities this season, and has posted a record of 2-and-0 with a 1.95 ERA. Chicago already made room on the roster for Jenks on Thursday by optioning pitcher D.J. Carrasco to Triple-A Charlotte.
