White Sox Clip Royals



Carlos Quentin clubbed a pair of two-run homers and scored the go-ahead run on a balk as the White Sox edged the Royals 7-6 in the middle contest of a three-game series at Kauffman Stadium. Jim Thome had an RBI single in the eighth to tie the game for the White Sox, who have won four in-a-row. Adam Russell picked up his third win of the season. Octavio Dotel struck out the side in the ninth to notch his first save. Ross Gload had three hits and two RBI as the Royals fell for the fifth time in six games. Robinson Tejeda took the loss for the second consecutive night. John Buck had a solo homer in defeat.
