Willingham Lifts Marlins Over Nats



Josh Willingham's second home run of the game was a walk-off shot in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Marlins to a 6-5 win over the Nationals in the first of a three-game set at Dolphin Stadium. Willingham drove in three runs and scored three times. Hanley Ramirez sent the game into extra innings by popping a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. Kevin Gregg pitched a scoreless inning of relief to improve to 6-and-2 with the victory. Elijah Dukes and Dmitri Young hit solo homers for Washington. Jon Rauch suffered the loss.
