Junior All Alone In Sixth Reds Win 10-3

Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 24th home run of the season, giving him sole possession of sixth place on the MLB career home run list, and helped propel the Cincinnati Reds to a 10-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves Monday night. Junior hit a three run shot off Braves starter Oscar Villarreal in the second inning giving the Reds a 5-0 lead. Cincinnati starter Bobby Livingston helped his own cause going 4-4 at the plate and had a RBI. Junior now occupies sixth place by himself with 587 round trippers, one more than Hall of Fame slugger Frank Robinson, and trailing Texas Ranger Sammy Sosa by 15 for fifth place.
