Pedro To Be Back With Mets On Monday
New York Mets manager Willie Randolph released some news that Mets fans have been waiting to hear all season long, New York starter Pedro Martinez is back. Randolph announced the news before the Mets game against the Braves on Saturday. Martinez who has been on the disabled list all season long recovering from rotator cuff surgery will take the hill Monday night in Cincinnati as he gets the start against the Reds. Martinez who had the surgery on October 5, had a successful 53 pitch bullpen session which was his final test before the Mets would reactivate him. The Mets after Friday night had a two game lead in the N.L. East over Philadelphia.
