Zambrano: You Want Pie With That?
Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano Wednesday concentrated more about what was on the field than in the dugout as he defeated the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 6-2. Zambrano who got into a brawl with his catcher Michael Barrett during the Saturday loss to the Atlanta Braves striking out nine in his 6.2 innings pitched.He did not allow a run until the sixth when he served up Prince Fielder's 21 homer of the season a two run shot.
Zambrano even got into the act offensively as he got two singles. But the big offensive hero for Chicago was centerfielder Felix Pie who went 3-5 including a three run home run. After the game Zambrano said that he and Barrett had made up before the Milwaukee series.
