Rocket Scheduled For Saturday MLB Debut

It looks like the moment New York Yankees fans have been salivating for over a month may finally occur this Saturday. The Rocket Roger Clemens is scheduled to make his 2007 MLB debut as the Bronx Bombers take on their "heated rivals" the Pittsburgh Pirates as once again MLB is going through Inter-League play.

Clemens who was originally scheduled to make his first start on Monday against the White Sox, was scratched due to a groin pull he suffered in his start at Triple A. Clemens threw 54 pitches off the mound at the Yankees minor league complex in Tampa. After the session he said he felt fine and was looking forward to the start.
