Sabathia Wins Number 12 Indians Beat D-Rays 8-6

Cleveland Indians starter C.C. Sabathia became the first pitcher in the majors this season to record win number 12, as the Indians Saturday evening squeaked by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 8-6. Sabathia, ironically has gotten two wins in his last starts, without his best stuff, in the two previous starts, he had filthy stuff, and ended up with a no decision against the Reds and a loss to the Braves. Sabathia was the recipient of some big offensive production from his teammates as they scored eight runs on 15 hits, including Travis "Pronk" Hafner's 13th home run of the season. The top of the Cleveland order Grady Sizemore and Casey Blake were very productive combining for for hits and five RBI.
