Rockies Just Keep On Winning Beat D-Backs 3-2 In11 Innings
The way the Colorado Rockies are playing right now they may never lose another game. I'm not talking about this season, I'm talking about for eternity! That team from a feel good baseball novel were at it again Friday night beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 in 11 innings, and taking a 2-0 lead in the N.L.C.S. Colorado won the game in the 11th as centerfielder Willy Taveras, who was on the bubble as to whether or not he would make the post-season roster, drove home the run with a bases loaded walk. The Rockies have certainly not been flashy, they have just one extra base hit in the N.L.C.S. first two games, but they have done just enough of the little things to keep on winning. Both teams are off on Saturday as they travel to Colorado for game three.
