Barry Gets 754 Giants Beat Marlins 12-10

Barry Bonds gave the fans at AT&T Park what they were looking for early, the first inning to be exact as he hit career home run number 754 as the Giants beat the Florida Marlins 12-10 Friday night. Bonds hit the long ball off of Marlins starter Rick Vanden Hurk a solo job that went to left center. The home run leaves Bonds one homer short of tying career MLB leader Hank Aaron at 755. Bonds who was originally scheduled to have Saturday off will get the start against Florida's Dontrelle Willis.
