Casey Clutch In Comeback Win Tribe Top Tigers 6-5
The Cleveland Indians won the first game of their three game series against the Detroit Tigers in dramatic fashion storming back from a 5-2 deficit in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game and eventually win the game in the eleventh 6-5. Cleveland who led second place Detroit in the American League central by 4.5 games, got the game winning hit a walkoff homer by Casey Blake to increase their lead to 5.5 and their "magic number" shrinks to 7 games. Rafael Bettancourt got the win in relief Detroit reliever Zach Miner got the loss. The Indians are looking to get back to the post season since 2001.
