Pedro Goes Five Mets Beat Astros 4-1
New York Mets starter Pedro Martinez is now 2-0 in the 2007 campaign, and New York now leads the N.L. East by six games after they defeated the Houston Astros Sunday 4-1. Martinez threw five scoreless frames giving up six hits and striking out four. Roy Oswalt took the loss for Houston, his record now sits at 14-7. The Mets lead second place Philadelphia, and take on the third place Atlanta Braves next in a three game series. The Braves currently are 8.5 games behind New York.
