Royals Reject Bradley
It turns out that even MLB's version of Siberia, does not want Milton Bradley. The Kansas City Royals the club with the worst record in the American League rescinded a trade they had made with Oakland A's on Friday. Saturday the Royals said that the deal that would give them Bradley in exchange for reliever Victor Nunez was off because of health concerns with Bradley. The outfielder told the Royals that he had a sore oblique muscle, that he had suffered during his last game played for Oakland. Bradley who has been on the disabled list three times in the 2007 campaign, was designated for assignment by Oakland. If they do not trade him within eight days he will be released outright. Bradley has the right to refuse a minor league assignment by the Athletics because he has more than three years of Major League service.
